DISSATISFACTION WITH SERVICE
Hairsines is committed to high quality legal advice and client care. If you feel that your experiencing problems or are in any way dissatisfied with our handling of your matter tell us and we shall seek to remedy the situation. As a first step please discuss the problem with the person handling your matter. You are entitled to complain. The person dealing with the complaint will be Ian Hairsine. It will help if you put any complaint in writing either by post to our office or by email (details on all our letters). Upon receipt of any complaint we shall be glad to send you our written complaint procedure. A complaint could be about the firms bill. You have a right to complain to the Legal Ombudsman (PO Box 6806 Wolverhampton WV1 9WJ telephone 0300 555 0333 or email enquiries@legalombudsman.org.uk) at the conclusion of the complaint process if you are not satisfied with our handling of your complaint. Normally you will need to bring a complaint to the Legal Ombudsman within 6 months of receiving a final written response from us about your complaint. You may apply to the court for an assessment of the bill under Part III of the Solicitors Act 1974. However the Legal Ombudsman may not consider the complaint about a bill if a client has applied to the court for assessment of the bill. If all or part of a bill remains unpaid the firm may be entitled to charge interest.
